The brief descriptions below are designed to familiarize you with our staff's training, professional credentials and work experience.


Polly E. Paton, D.D.S.

Dr. Polly Paton began her career in dentistry as a dental hygienist in Columbia, S.C.  She finished a B.S. in Biology at UNCC and graduated from dental school at UNC Chapel Hill with doctorate in dental surgery in 1988.

She is a member of the S.C. Dental Association, Serves on the SCDA Foundation Board and is a member of the Palmetto Study Club. She also gives time to the Children’s Dental Clinic of the Midlands

Dr. Paton is an avid golfer and loves to visit family and friends. At home, she takes care of her husband, Jim and her cat Harley. They keep her busy!



Natalia Nuñez Antley, D.D.S. 

Dr. Antley is originally from Colombia, South America but has been living in Columbia, SC since the age of 5. She obtained her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and her Bachelor of Arts degree in French from Wofford College. She completed her doctoral degree at the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill School of Dentistry in 2014. After graduating from dental school, Dr. Antley completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry program at the Hospital of Veterans Affairs in Fayetteville, NC. Dr. Antley was honored to be able to care for veterans during her residency year.

In her free time, Dr. Antley enjoys spending time with her family. She stays busy with her young daughter and puppy. Her favorite activities include traveling, dancing and cooking. Dr. Antley also enjoys serving communities in need by volunteering dental care at the local Children’s Clinic and other dental events. Being a fluent Spanish speaker, Dr. Antley has served as a volunteer in clinics in both the U.S. and Latin America.

After being Dr. Paton’s patient since childhood, Dr. Antley is overjoyed to be part of this wonderful practice!


Kasey Hodges


Certified Dental Assistant

I graduated from Midlands Technical College in 2004 with a diploma in Expanded Duty Dental Assisting. Following graduation, I began working for Dr. Paton. I enjoy talking with our patients, making them feel comfortable and being part of the dental team.

In my free time I attend my sons sporting events and volunteeing with non-profit organizations. I like being outdoors and reading.


Aurdrey Rambo

Dental Assistant                                                                                                                          

I graduated from A.W. Beattie Technical School in 1984 with a degree in Dental Assisting. I started working for Dr. Paton in 1996.

I love to spend time with my husband, Barry and my son , Eric. I have 6 stepchildren and 11 grandchildren that keep me busy. I also love to visit my family in Pittsburgh PA. and watch the Steelers and Gamecocks play football.



Theresa Bostrom

Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH)                                                                                          

I graduated from Midlands Technical College with a Bachelor of Science degree in dental hygiene in 1994 and have been working with Dr. Paton ever since (WOW! That was a long time ago). Prior to that, I was a dental assistant in another office for approximately 10 years and that is where I met Dr. Paton.

 I am a member of Shandon Baptist Church. My husband, Steve and I have a blended family of 4 children and 4 ½ grandchildren. I enjoy gardening and experimenting with new foods in the kitchen.


Loriann S. Rast

Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH)/Certification to Administer Infiltration Anesthesia/STM Certification.

I am a graduate of Midlands technical College. Before becoming a Dental Hygienist I was an EDDA( Dental Asst.) for 8 years .I have worked for Dr. Paton since 2009. My 21 years in dentistry has been very rewarding. Coming to work is no struggle for me. I love my job, the staff and Dr. Paton!  My husband, Kevin and I have known each other since we were 11 years old. We are blessed with our sweet boy, Cooper, who is five. We all love anything outdoors. Living in the country allows us to do just that! Four wheelers, beach, hunting, and fishing.
